Intensive ABA Services
Arrow Academy is a center-based Autism and Developmental Disabilities treatment provider, offering quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to children and their families in Stevens Point, WI and surrounding areas.
Arrow Academy's Intensive ABA Services are typically delivered 15 - 40 hours per week in our child-focused treatment center. The number of hours recommended depends on the child's individual skill set and intensity of problem behavior. Recommended hours are discussed with families at the initial assessment meeting after reviewing different areas of your child's development.
Your family will be assigned a clinical supervisor, either a BCBA, BCaBA or a Team Lead who is an individual currently working towards obtaining their Master's degree in ABA. The supervisor will assess your areas of concern and develop a treatment plan to address those areas by developing learning programs tailored to your individual child. This individualized programming allows the supervisor to make modifications to the way the technicians teach if your child has difficulty learning a new skill.
Treatment is delivered to your child in a 1-on-1 fashion
by a behavioral treatment technician. Individualized
attention is given to your child for the full day he or she
is a the center working intensively on learning targets.
Each technician has received 40 hours of behavior
Treatment is covered by Forward Health and oftentimes, other major insurances with no cost to families. Arrow Academy will contact your insurance provider to find out if your plan covers intensive ABA.
Autism centers are established forms of ABA practice in many states across the U.S. and have many benefits such as freeing up parents' time to go back to school or work, providing controlled learning environments for children and more opportunities to work on social skills during treatment hours.
Arrow Academy's aim is to work ourselves out of a job. We work hard to provide our clients with the most effective, individualized treatment tailored to their specific needs to improve skill sets and reduce problem behavior so we can reduce the gap compared to typically developing peers.
